Restaurant Kenichi

Located at the site of the old Kay LC Restaurant, this humble location continues the long standing tradition of serving up simply delicious comfort food without all the fuss. Affectionately known as Kenichi’s, this local Japanese restaurant is becoming increasingly popular for their savory food and expedient customer service. Enjoy a hot bowl of our favorite Spicy Miso Ramen made with their special house dashi (broth) and teriyaki beef as your choice of meat. Or try their super popular Korean Chicken Salad with crispy wontons; be sure to order extra dressing for a full flavorful experience! Save room for dessert, the fresh and fruity sweet Mango Cheesecake is perfect to end your dining experience. No matter what you try, you will keep coming back for more! Hot tip, this restaurant gets busy quickly during peak dining hours, therefore reservations are highly recommended. Calling into the restaurant to make a reservation or order take-out can be a little difficult at times, but it is worth the re-dial. Our suggestion, arrive when they open to avoid any lines.

Address: 684 Kilauea Ave, Hilo, HI 96720
