What’s Shakin’ Big Island

This secluded gem is for anyone and everyone who has a fondness for fresh Island grown fruit in the form of a sweet frozen fruit smoothie! Most of the fruit is grown organically right there on their farm in the snug town of Pepeekeo. Their velvety smoothies are made without any added sugar or ice. One adventure we relish time and time again involves stopping here for a smoothie, then exploring the stunning Botanical Gardens. Two of our favorite smoothies at What’s Shakin’ are the Mango Tango and Papaya Paradise. The Mango Tango smoothie contains Papaya, Banana, Mango, Pineapple and Apple Juice. It has a delicious sweet taste with a hint of tart that will keep you cool and feeling refreshed! The Papaya Paradise has a more subtle island vibe with Papaya, Banana, Coconut Milk & Pineapple Juice. The coconut milk gives it an extra dimension of silky smooth texture for a punch of added flavor. If you are not in the mood for a smoothie, that’s ok! Be sure to try some of their coffees, teas or milkshakes. If you are feeling hungry, in addition to a smoothie, grab one of their savory entrees like the Turkey Rockin’ RollUp or the Ono Mamas Fish Wrap. We can’t say enough fabulous things about What’s Shakin’ Big Island, stop by soon and indulge. While visiting, let them know Big Island Reviews send much love and aloha.
